About Us
JE&Co was launched in 2022, after a number of years of planning and dreaming. Joe and Erin - JE&Co Principals, partners in life and business. Designated Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA). Together and apart, we have worked on a number of business ventures throughout our relationship.
Joe has over 15 years of experience as a financial professional in various types and sizes of organizations, including startups and growth-stage businesses. He has a successful track record of working with companies from their inception to multi-billion dollar annual revenue. Joe was the Co-founder of MintGreen Blockchain Corp, a company that provides proprietary Bitcoin mining equipment to district energy systems. In addition, he served as the Director of Business Performance and Advisory Services at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where he provided oversight and advisory services for the university's diverse portfolio of for-profit ventures. Joe also has experience as a professional board member having served as an elected trustee on a pension fund overseeing well over $1billion in assets.
Erin has over ten years of experience in finance, with a focus on assurance and compliance. She has a strong background in cost accounting, tax, and compliance, and has worked in both the public sector and public practice. Erin is skilled at creating financial reporting structures that enable effective data analysis, and is known for her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and relevancy of financial information. She works collaboratively with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and other regulatory agencies to address issues and ensure compliance.
